Ann Ritter/Hari Kaur

I have been a student of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation for nearly 30 years, since my first class with Mukta Kaur at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center in 1989.  I have been teaching yoga more or less full-time since 1999, including classes at Georgia State University, Emory’s Center for Lifelong Learning, Georgia Tech, Callanwolde and Kashi Atlanta.  I completed Master’s Touch Level I in Espanola in 2000 and the five modules for Level II Kundalini Yoga and Meditation trainings through KRI in 2010. I am now a member of a Level III cohort (class of 2017) and continue to develop expertise in Sat Nam Rasayan and Yoga for Youth trainings. I am also RYT-500 certified as an Integrative Yoga therapist (C-IAYT). As a member of the Aquarian Training Academy, I have assisted in both Durham, NC, and Nashville, TN, on Kundalini Yoga Level I teacher training programs.

I make my home in Decatur (30030), where I teach Kundalini Yoga and Meditation, and Kundalini Yoga for Post Traumatic Stress at Vista Yoga (30033). In addition, I have served as a faculty member in Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business, and as a research team member with GSU’s College of Nursing on yoga for mild traumatic brain injury. My doctoral dissertation from Fielding Graduate University was on the topic of wisdom states, and my PhD research included practical applications of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation for business students and other professionals, particularly those working with English as a second language.
